After two days of basking in the glorious sunshine the Greece players concluded their preparations for Friday's quarter-final against Germany amid bleak conditions in Legionowo. It was far from a case of pathetic fallacy, however, with spirits high among a focused set of players. Grigoris Makos again trained with the expected starters – a strong indiciation that he will deputise for suspended captain Giorgos Karagounis in midfield.
