The Most Memorable Moments of Oscars 2015

The Most Memorable Moments of Oscars 2015
Why do the Oscars last over 300 hours? That’s simply because there are tens of categories and even more nominees to please.
During the ceremony we see and hear the stars congratulate and greet each other. No doubt every single Oscar ever held was thoroughly organized. Unfortunately, not goes well to some of the participants and they make awkward mistakes from time to time. The beautiful moments of the great show are also always noticed and discussed later on. Here are some of the curious moments that you might have missed this year:

Awkward and weird John Travolta
Superstars should always watch themselves. Otherwise all the weird and awkward things they do and say will always be noticed by the viewers. What is the touching of Scarlett Johansson and Idina Menzel all about? Looks weird. It must have felt even freakier to the ladies!
The speech to remember for long
J.K. Simmons from Whiplash was the lucky one to be awarded. In his speech he didn’t forget to thank his spouse and children for all the support they give the star. The most remarkable moment was when Simmons encouraged everyone to be more mindful towards each other, especially parents. Quite a deed!
Worst attempts to sound funny
Sense of humor has always been appreciated. We do love smart comments. I bet Neil Patrick Harris didn’t mean to sound and look shallow, however it did happen to him this year.
The “in memoriam” ignore
We should never forget those who gave their life to contribute to art and make our lives complete. It is impossible to explain or even understand why Joan Rivers was excluded from the “in memoriam” list. At least Robin William was mentioned, which does not make the mistake any smaller.

Best hashtag of the event
Reese Witherspoon wanted something different. So did other celebrities. Most of them are usually surrounded by reporters asking cliche question. Reese Witherspoon’s #askhermore let the curious find out what they had wanted to ask their idols for ages. Questions included different info: from film production to health problems. Reese’s idea appeared to be quite successful.

Gloves to express the style
Actually, gloves make a great accessory. The styles and shapes of some of them are so varied and unique that they can sometimes become true representatives of the owner. Lady Gaga knew for sure that people would talk about her red rubber gloves for long when she decided to put them on.

Can you tell who is who?
Looking alike is not always good, especially if you are a man and look like a lady. Or is it the lady who looks like the man. Who is copying who? It was really difficult to tell Scarlett Johansson from Adam Levine – their haircuts, the style in general and even the structure of their faces… all this makes you think they are twins.

Silence is not always golden
It is no fun at all to make a fool of yourself, especially if you are being watched and listened to by thousands. Steve Carell and Neil Patrick Harris did not succeed in avoiding that awkward moment where they could not decide which one of the two was supposed to talk and the pause afterwards that lasted for too long.
