Ø  Team building:- refers to the process of establishing and developing a great sense of collaboration and trust among the team members.

Team formation and development process
1.      Forming (gathering):- Direct the team and establish objectives clearly. (A good way of doing this is to negotiate a team charter.)
2.      Storming (thinking and discussing) :- Establish process and structure, and work to smooth conflict and build good relationships between team members. Generally provide support, especially to those team members who are less secure. Remain positive and firm in the face of challenges to your leadership or the team's goal.
3.      Normings (settings rules and regulation):- Step back and help the team take responsibility for progress towards the goal. This is a good time to arrange a social, or a team-building event
4.      Performing ( putting everything in to work)
5.      Adjourning (closing action):- When breaking up a team, take the time to celebrate its achievements. After all, you may well work with some of your people again, and this will be much easier if people view past experiences positively.

Steps for improving Team performance

1.  Identify your behavioral goals
This might include canvassing opinion from the team, customers, management, staff, peers and others on what behaviors will lead to team success.

2.  Measure your current behaviors
Assess your team's current behaviors using the same behavioral framework as that in step 1, to enable direct comparisons

3.  Undertake a gap analysis
Identify the most significant gaps between target/current behaviors
Egg; Have 20% confidence but goal is 80%

4.  Close the gap
Design a programmed of training or a series of team actions that will change the team's behavior
Egg; fulfill the goal, coming near
5.  Monitor
This includes monitoring of the programmed of improvement, remeasuring 'current behaviors’ to make sure they are making progress towards the behavioral goals, and taking corrective action when insufficient progress is being made.

Impact of friendship on team
Team leader and team member should have friendly relationship. Among team members, and team leader verses team member will lead to conflict.
